Il se focalise sur les rapports des administrations avec les hautes écoles suisses. L’analyse replace d’abord les transformations en cours dans un contexte historique, puis se concentre sur le rôle de « marginaux sécants », à savoir des acteurs à l’articulation de plusieurs systèmes organisationnels, dans le renouvellement contemporain de la production de l’expertise territoriale. Les auteurs mobilisent un matériau collecté au moyen d’entretiens semi-directifs réalisés en 2018 et 2019 auprès d’acteurs de la recherche en aménagement et urbanisme en Suisse et d’observations participantes de séances de mise en œuvre d’un tiers-lieu du territoire. This article examines current transformations of the public commissioning of urban planning studies. It focuses on the case of the relationship between administrations and Swiss universities. The analysis, first of all, re-establishes the transformations taking place in a historical context and then focuses on the role of “marginal secants” (i.e., actors in the articulation of several organizational systems) in the contemporary renewal of the production of territorial expertise. Métiers et organisations, paru en 2009, a représenté pour le réseau une sorte d’aboutissement de la réflexion menée dès son origine sur les coopérations et les coordinations des acteurs de la production architecturale et urbaine. Regroupant une série d’investigations menées autour de ces thèmes sous le vocable d’interprofessionnalité, le travail de recherche entrepris par Ramau a permis d’appréhender les configurations d’un paysage professionnel complexe et mouvant. L’article présente, dix ans après la parution du livre, les regards critiques portés par trois chercheurs de générations différentes sur ces mêmes thèmes, faisant apparaître les continuités, évolutions, inflexions et nouveaux horizons de recherche apparus depuis. Il souligne ainsi la constance, dans l’activité du réseau Ramau, des questionnements sur le modèle français de production du cadre bâti. The book “La Fabrication de la ville, métiers et organisations” published in 2009 represented a capstone for the study of cooperation and coordination amongst actors in architectural and urban production, present from the network’s origins. Ramau’s research, which brings together a series of investigations conducted on these themes under the heading of interprofessionality, has made it possible to understand the configurations of a complex and changing professional landscape. Ten years after the book’s publication, this article presents the critical views on these same themes formulated by three scholars from different generations. It reveals the continuities, evolutions, inflections and new research horizons that have emerged since then.
