Lorsque celles-ci ne coïncident pas avec les conceptions professionnelles véhiculées dans leur formation, ils font preuve d’une forme d’imagination créatrice pour constituer leurs propres figures du praticien idéal qui visent pour certaines à concilier (figure du praticien hybride), pour d’autres à positionner dans un débat axiologique (figure du technicien idéologue) ou encore à différencier selon une rupture radicale (figure du praticien habitant) de ce qui leur apparaît comme une pensée urbanistique normalisant les territoires. Apparaît alors un urbanisme de l’« autrement », plus inclusif des étudiants et reposant sur une connaissance ordinaire des territoires. It is rare to include students in debates on the architectural profession and evolutions, while they integrate their trainings with some professional representations a priori. When they don’t match the professional conceptions conveyed in their training courses, they show a form of creative imagination. They build their own ideal images of the architecture practitioner, aiming, for some, to reconcile (figure of the hybrid practitioner) position in an axiological debate (figure of the technician ideologue) or differentiate according to a radical break (figure of the inhabitant practitioner) from what appears to them as an urbanistic standardizing thought with regards to territories.
